The Challenge

Design and develop digital healthcare tools for Patients and Providers that streamline healthcare services through telehealth and connected services to save time, reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve health outcomes.

The Solution

Simplify complex challenges.

We collaborated with a cross-functional team of Doctors, Nurses, Care Providers, and Patients plus Engineers and Sales people to design and develop a software toolbox called justmiine.

justmiine connects Patients and Providers through their cloud-based AI-enabled system of apps and dashboards—reducing complexity to save time and closing gaps in care to improve outcomes, while saving money and increasing revenue.

We took justmiine from 0 to 1 and then to scale.

Product-market Fit

Discovery & Research

To ensure success at scale, we defined and communicated product vision through strategy, research, and data-driven decision making.

Leading discovery and validation through UX research plus market and competitive analysis, we developed a clear vision of what success looks like.

We combined product vision with a clear technical understanding of challenges to be solved and where opportunity areas were located, allowing us to proceed with roadmap development.

Human-centered Design

User Research & Personas

After defining and communicating product vision and strategy, we honed in on our core users, researching and understanding their challenges, their preferences, and what success looked like.

We followed human-centered design best practices to gather a mix of qualitative and quantitative data, gathered from both internal and external sources to developed our personas.

Our personas identified recurring themes and patterns in user behavior, allowing us to segment users into distinct persona-based roles for Patients, Providers, and Care Teams.

Product Portfolio

Branding & Design Systems

Since our final product experience was going grow both in-person and digitally, we designed a brand alongside a design system, working together to maintain consistency and integrity at every touchpoint.

The design system combined product-market fit with high legibility and strong integrity across platforms plus agility for rapid iteration and development.

User Interface (UI/UX)

Patient App

The justmiine app unlocks at-home healthcare through telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and digital-first healthcare services.

The HIPAA-compliant mobile app connects Patients with doctors, nurses, offices, and hospitals.

When Patients share real-time health information with the app, the Care Team is able to connect, engage, and track changes over time.

Together, patients can get help remotely to manage events, changes, and new symptoms from the comfort of home.

User Interface (UI/UX)

Provider Tools

The provider dashboard unlocked remote care logistics to provide new avenues of patient support.

After launching and scaling virtual telemedicine and clinical care services, we unified data management across in-bound data streams and electronic health medical records (EMR), saving time and increasing billable engagement.

With new in-bound data streams from the Patient App and EMR integration, our tools visualized complex and time-sensitive data, using AI-powered features to deliver better care more efficiently.

Delivery

Results

justmiine’s suite of tools reduced hospital admission rates by 25% for chronically ill patients and readmission rates by up to 76% with an estimated savings of $200–$1,200 per patient per year, depending on condition and frequency of care.

Appointment efficiency increased for patients, saving on average 20–120 minutes per visit, including travel and wait times. Average Blood Pressure reduced by 18% and average Blood Sugar levels reduced by 10%.

Nurse time per patient reduced by 30–50%. Providers were able to bill an additional $120–$200/month per patient for Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services.

By successfully scaling tools for care teams to deliver better care more efficiently, justmiine was acquired by the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), one of the most important research universities in Latin America.
